European Recognition for a More Inclusive Company
In 2025, our ongoing efforts to promote inclusion, diversity, and gender equality were recognized across Europe through two major awards:
- Silver Medal at the SolarPower Europe Diversity Award, honoring the most diversity-driven companies in the solar energy sector.
- Finalist at the AFL Diversity Grand Prix for Inclusion and Diversity, a national award highlighting the most inspiring initiatives promoting workplace inclusion in France.
These European recognitions reflect our determination to make Boralex an inclusive employer committed to a fair and equitable workplace.
A Structured and Ambitious Diversity Policy
Our diversity and inclusion policy in Europe is based on three key pillars, designed to make Boralex a truly inclusive workplace.
1. Gender Equality
Gender equality remains a cornerstone of our HR strategy. In 2025, we strengthened our initiatives by:
- Supporting female leadership through participation in the Effet A program.
- Achieving a significant improvement in our gender equality index, rising from 81 to 98/100 in just two years.
- Launching an internal podcast on women in leadership, featuring inspiring stories from our female colleagues.

2. Accessibility and Inclusion of People with Disabilities
We are committed to fostering an accessible and inclusive work environment, supported by tangible actions such as:
- Dedicated benefits for employees with recognized disabilities (RQTH).
- Personalized support through Coline Care, an innovative psychological and social support solution.
- Workplace accommodations and awareness sessions for all teams.
3. Building an Inclusive Culture Every Day
An inclusive culture is shaped through training, awareness, and collective engagement. Over the past two years, we have:
- Deployed unconscious bias training for managers and HR teams.
- Partnered with the French Federation of Para Sports to promote inclusion through sport.
- Launched internal awareness campaigns focused on diversity and inclusion.
- Integrated gender diversity indicators into the incentive pay of our senior leadership.
Together, these initiatives foster a climate of trust and belonging, where every voice counts and diversity is seen as a source of strength.

Inclusion and Energy Transition: A Shared Mission
At Boralex, we believe that the sustainable future we are building relies not only on renewable energy, but also on human energy—the energy of respect, empathy, and collaboration.
- In Canada, in 2024, our commitment to promote inclusion and equitable employment practices have also been recognized with the Silver Parity Certification awarded by Women in Governance (La Gouvernance au Féminin, LGAF).
These awards are not an end in themselves, but rather a motivation to keep advancing. We will continue to make inclusion and diversity key drivers of our corporate strategy, contributing to a more just and human energy transition.

Continuing to Build an Inclusive and Sustainable Workplace
