Project Overview Des Neiges - Secteur Sud
This wind farm will be located in the unorganized territory of Lac-Jacques-Cartier in the MRC of Côte-de-Beaupré, south of the existing wind farms. It will include 57 wind turbines of 7 MW each, for a total capacity of 400 MW.
It represents an investment of one billion dollars and will create direct and indirect economic benefits for the region during the planned 30 years of operation.
The Des Neiges - South Sector wind project has obtained government authorizations, and clearing work began in December 2024.
