YOUR PROFILE

As a key contributor to Boralex’s team, you will play a vita role in execution of strategic projects of Boralex. We are looking for a mature professional in construction industry with an experience participating in development and execution of large infrastructure projects. You must exhibit solid knowledge of construction industry in North America, and a proven ability to negotiate complex construction contracts, work in and manage multifunctional teams and build relationship with different stakeholders outside and within an organization. You thrive on working on several projects at once, and you would like to work for a pioneering Canadian company, with strong human valuers, in the renewable energy field.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Senior Director-Procurement, you will work in strong collaboration with Development and Project Delivery teams to organize procurement of construction services, engineering and other professional services for Boralex wind, storage and solar projects.

Working closely with various groups within Boralex, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct a market analysis ofpotential contractorsand related professional services forconstruction of RES projects in different areas of Boralex business in the US andCanada;
• Establish and maintain relationship with potential contractors,identifyandseek competitive advantageswithin partnership with reputable industry players.
• Work with development,project delivery, engineeringand constructionteamsonbuilding assumptions for new projectbids.
• Lead preparation of RFIs and RFPsfor BOPin line withBoralex’ standards, organize and managecommercial evaluation ofcontractors’proposal with multi-disciplinary team composed of specialists from engineering,construction,development, projectdelivery, finance and otherteams.
• Together withmulti-disciplinary teamconductcontract agreementsnegotiations withcontractorsandobtain approvals fromdifferent administrative bodies for contractssigning.
• SupportProject Delivery team if neededwithsolvingissues and disagreements withcontractorsduring projectsexecution;
• Act as aLiaisonbetween H&S team and procurement assuring all contract compliancewith H&Sstandard; organizequalification of contractors and providersto Boralex H&Srequirements;
• Coordinate relationship with engineering companies, lead commercial negotiation andconduct MSA
• Lead work withcontractorsto support Boralex CSRstrategy;
• Organize work of theteam dedicated toBOP and professional services procurement
• Contribute to the development of procurement functionby bringing ideas, feedback, and requirements from own area(s) of responsibility.
• Other duties within the procurement team responsibilities.
• NB This position includesoccasional travel in North America and abroad.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Bachelor’sor Master`sdegree incivilengineeringorequivalent;
• From 8 years ofexperience inconstruction industry,on position of project manager, proposal manager orequivalent experience
• Experience inleadingcontract negotiation andofcontracts with value morethan20mln;
• Experience in the infrastructureprojectsexecution;
• Demonstrated leadership experience in multi-functional projectsimplementation;
• Experience working in or with global international business;
• Good project-management skills and experiencein it:
• High level of negotiation skills;
• Strong user of Microsoft Suite;
• Team-player,withability to work effectively underpressure;
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Established professional network amongconstructionindustry in North America.
